What a shame this is such a bare release. There must be much of interest to say about Harry Alan Towers' preoccupation with the Christie novel, not to mention the cosmopolitan cast and the Iranian setting.

Sadly, we have to make do with the trailer, which certainly serves to show how much sharper, by comparison, this rather nice transfer is - the Iranian setting is much more compelling now it has been freed from murk. Sound is fine - but not called on to do very much.
