This 16:9 ratio, AVC encoded 1080p High Definition transfer is decent, retaining the film's texture but presenting a decent showcase of the film's cinematography. The LPCM Stereo 2.0 soundtrack is perfectly fine, especially as it is not called upon for much other than dialogue.

The scrubbed up print is definitely the reason for fans to invest in this Artificial Eye release, as the extras are minimal. There is an interview with lead actress Stéphane Audran, which clocks in at just under seven minutes.

She gives a potted history of the production, including her association wtih costume designer Karl Lagerfeld and observes that the crew "thought we were weirdos". She also notes that despite all the lavish food on display, "We got nothing". Short and sweet but it's a shame no more supplementary material could be found. The package is completed by the original theatrical trailer and the more recent trailer for the BFI re-release.
