Read Anton Bitel's film review of Barefoot Gen 2Released to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the Hiroshima bombing, this excellent DVD includes a restored print of Barefoot Gen 2, scene selection, optional English subtitles, and also the original Barefoot Gen (1983); the accompanying booklet contains an interview with author Keiji Nakazawa, and an essay by Jonathan Clements (co-author of The Anime Encyclopedia).
