Eye For Film >> Movies >> Beyond The Walls (2012) DVD Review
The image quality on this DVD is superb and makes the most of the film's shifting moods. Unfortunately there's a problem with the subtitles, with the last thing said remaining on the screen until something else is said, rather distracting from the imagery in a film which includes prolonged periods of silence. If you're comfortable with French you're better off watching it without them. There are brief bits of Albanian (Gouix's character being an immigrant) but you won't be left struggling to follow the plot if you can't understand them.
