Billy And Albert: Billy Connolly Live At The Royal Albert Hall

Read David Stanners's film review of Billy And Albert: Billy Connolly Live At The Royal Albert HallSince Billy & Albert has absolutely no extras, it's hard to give it a positive review. However, the reason it is worth buying is that it is a classic and, seeing that videos are all but obsolete these days, you'll soon be limited to DVDs. Still, there could have been a featurette on Connolly's career to date, his upbringing as a welder in Glasgow, his early days as a folk singer and how he broke onto the comedy circuit.
Still, this is such a good gig that the DVD is worth while , because it is 17 years since he did the Albert Hall, and it is still a great show. In 17 years time, you're VCR will be on the scrap heap, whereas your DVD will more than likely still be good for viewing.
