Cannibal Apocalypse must have its fair share of admirers to get such a wealthy heaping of DVD extras. The print transfer and sound are fine, while gorehounds will get a kick out of the promotional extras such as the trailers, especially the short Japanese one that only shows the film's goriest, and best, scene.

The hour-long documentary, Cannibal Apocalypse Redux, is entertaining to watch for the wrong reasons. Saxon is eager to admit that he's never really watched the film and expresses a level of puzzlement of the whole Italian horror scene and presses the interviewer for what actually happens in the film and whom he played.

Apocalypse in the Streets consists of some guy in an army jacket standing in front of the locations featured in the film and pointing at them. Avoid this, as it is six minutes of your life you will never retrieve.

The Butchering of Cannibal Apocalypse is a small essay detailing in minute detail the cuts that were made across the globe to the film. Don't laugh, a small section of people need this information. Stay scared.
