Eye For Film >> Movies >> Circus Of Horrors (1960) DVD Review
A nice enough transfer, with good picture and sound quality. Scene select option works nice and smoothly, too. But there’s disappointingly little in the way of extras. Just a trailer that nicely distils 92 minutes of luridness into as many seconds. Perhaps too many of the protagonists have passed away, but the on-set reminiscences would have been fun, I’m sure. And I’m amazed that they couldn’t find a film theorist specialising in post-Freudian analysis to do a full-length commentary on this one!
