Eye For Film >> Movies >> Colonel Redl (1985) DVD Review
With no extras, besides an interactive scene menu, breaking up the movie into 12 chapters, this really doesn't even deserve one star. But the film is so good, I can't give it zero.
The picture quality has been improved, although is not as sharp as one might like. The subtitles are in a very small font and appear white on white rather than standing out on a black background, making them difficult to read. There are very few translation errors, however.
The movie's language track is in German, with the mono soundtrack crisp and clear.
