Read Max Blinkhorn's film review of Creature Comforts: Complete Series 2The DVD features the original Heat Electric adverts from 1988, all the series 2 Creature Comfort episodes, a Christmas special (including a hilarious rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas) and the obligatory but fascinating "How we make 'em" film.
For little uns there are two games. One is mobile phone based where you get to feed and train your favourite creature on you phone a la the Tamaguci of a few years ago. I didn't follow this through but payment is involved, I suspect.
The other is a "Who said what" quiz which is rather fun and very "Aardman" - my daughter and I hooted at the crab carrying a sign saying "WRONG" when we answered incorrectly. Inserting the DVD into your laptop also yields a stack of colouring in images and screensavers.
This is a classic collection of animated comedy in a nicely proportioned package. Satisfaction guaranteed for all ages.
