The principle thing you need to know about this DVD is that it defaults to a dubbed version of the film. If you have any genuine interest in the film at all, do not watch this - it's the worst dub of anything produced for many years, and gives the nuanced acting work in the first half the quality of discount Italian Seventies porn. It should be listened to only for novelty value - if you don't want subtitles distracting you from the action, you're better off viewing the film with the sound off. Fortunately there is a subtitled version with the original French sound on the disc, so take the time to set this up at the start and you'll have a much better experience.

There are no extras on this DVD (you'd need the blu-ray for that) but the film has been well transferred so you can properly enjoy the visuals that constitute its main point of appeal, and fans can pause the action to get a proper look at those monsters.
