Read Keith Hennessey Brown's film review of Deep In The WoodsThere is nothing of interest in the way of extras. The filmographies and film notes barely maintain your interest for the 20 seconds it takes to read them. The trailer reel is adverts for other films. The trailer is an advert for the film you've just seen.
The presentation is far better. Surround sound is competently utilised in the build up of tension. Although some minor blocking is visible in a couple of the darker scenes, the picture quality is mostly high, emphasising the fantastic cinematography. Thankfully, for non-French speakers, there are no problems on the subtitling front.
