Donkey Punch

The picture quality is clear and crisp, with no grain or artefacts. The audio quality is equally clear, although the surround mix isn't used to as much effect as it could have been. There's subtitling and an audio description track on the main feature, but not on the extras.

If only the film itself had some of the quality of the extras. As DVD packages go, Donkey Punch has everything you could possibly want. With such a poor film, you don't really care, but judged simply on their own merit, the extras are excellent.

The interviews and director's commentary give interesting insights into the production of the film. Of course, they talk the film up more than it deserves, but that's to be expected. The Making Of featurette expands on this further.

The deleted scenes don't really add anything to the film. However, as always, they're better included on a DVD package than not. Similarly, the storyboard doesn't bring a whole lot to the table, but it's better here than not.

If you can find any reason to like the film, you'll be well served by the DVD package.
