Eye For Film >> Movies >> Gohatto (1999) DVD Review
While presented in 2.35:1 and enhanced for widescreen televisions, the transfer seems to have trouble coping with the sheer detail of the textures and surfaces. The rich colours come through well but the image also looks soft and grainy, and has more little scratches than you might expect for something that's only a couple of years old.
The Japanese audio is clear and free from hiss and distortion, while the English subtitles (there are no other language options) are easy to read.
There are no extras, not even a trailer.
