Eye For Film >> Movies >> Good (2008) DVD Review
Unfortunately, the extras on Good are little more than passable - being only a collection of interview snippets with members of the cast (Viggo Mortensen, Jason Isaacs, Jodie Whittaker, Steve Mackintosh, Mark Strong) and director Vicente Amorim.
Mortensen talks about the "slippery slope" his character Halder finds himself on, while Jason Isaacs stresses the film's relevance as we can examine "modern life through the prism of history". All talk about the idea of considering our own morality by looking at how easy it is to make the wrong choices.
The main problem with this extra lies not with the content - which is better than the average Hollywood interview set - but with the fact that the answers are choppily edited and split with title cards, so that they lack any real sense of flow.
Sound and picture values are all fine, and the film is fully subtitled although, inexplicably, the interviews aren't.
