Eye For Film >> Movies >> Hammett (1982) DVD Review
It’s a shame there are no extras on this release, as all the conjecture surrounding the troubled shoot and final product makes for interesting reading.
The picture clarity is sharp and has stood the test of time well, doing justice to the beautiful design of the film. The sound is similarly well delivered, to ensure none of the lonely nuances of John Barry’s score are lost on the viewer.
