Infernal Affairs III

Tartan Asia Extreme's Region 2 PAL DVD of Infernal Affairs III looks and sounds good, with a sharp, detailed anamorphic widescreen transfer and some nice effects in the 5.1 and DTS sound mixes.

While not quite stretching the envelope in either regard, the overall quality of the treatment is all the more apparent from the Making Of feaurette - a 12-minute promo reel emphasising the all star cast - and trailer selections - for the film, its predecessors, Old Boy, The Eye 2, Battle Royale 2 and Blue Sky - included by way of extras, within which artefacting and lack of definition are occasionally evident.

The English subtitles are legible throughout, with no obvious errors.
