Read Gator MacReady's film review of Knight Rider: The Complete Third SeriesFilmed in plain, old full-frame, the show looks decent enough. Some shots can be full of brightness and colour and others can appear a bit drab.
Knight Rider has been broadcast in HD in America and it apparently looks amazing, but until it becomes more accessible, this above average DVD will have to do.
The sound is mono, which is the best TV transfers could do at the time. It's totally adequate and nothing really requires more, but the occasional elaborate sound effects would have been cool in 5.1.
As with almost all Universal TV shows on DVD, there are absolutely no extras whatsoever.
