Eye For Film >> Movies >> Making A Killing (2002) DVD Review
There is a lot of graining and scratching on the source material. It doesn't distract the viewer and is understandable given that this is a low budget film, but it's still a shame. Equally disappointing is the stereo sound. Whilst there aren't any faults in it, at no point is it used to any great purpose. It's very lacklustre.
The disappointment continues with the extras. It should be noted that the behind the scenes featurette gives away some of the twists in the film; it should also be noted that the featurette contains nothing of interest.
Although they're better off on the DVD than not, the deleted scenes are rather drab. None of them provide any sort of insight into the film-making process, they're just scenes that didn't quite fit in the final cut - and it's obvious why when watching them.
Which leaves us with the photo gallery. Yawn.
