Eye For Film >> Movies >> Molly's Way (2005) DVD Review
The film’s limited release and budget mean there are no special features aside from the trailer but you can view the film in English, Spanish, French or German.
The widescreen ratio does justice to the impressive cinematography, capturing the harsh landscape Molly faces in all its bleak, intimidating glory. There is no Hollywood gloss here, just gritty realism.
There may be basic sound but you don’t really need fancy surround to appreciate the glorious soundtrack, which combines traditional Polish violin and piano songs with Irish folk and a gorgeous original score. The contrast is as painful and beautiful as the story itself.
