Out On A Limb

The sound and picture are as clear as one would expect from such a recent film. When it comes to extras, this is a slim package for a modest film - but coming across a seemingly unrelated short film actually makes a refreshing change.

Behind the Kitchen documentary - well, that's grandstanding a bit. Really this is a short featurette made up of a number of nicely edited talking heads from in front of and behind the camera. Some interesting asides allude to the recent ease and funding available for film-making in South Africa.

Cereal Killer an inventive, confidently directed (by Heath, director of the main feature) short about a crotch-scratching bored teeanager with an internal monologue and his finger up his nose. Then he thinks he'll be a serial killer. Well the devil will find work...
