Pervert!

Some things you just can't polish, as the proverb goes.

With a long way to climb to get any estimable worth Pervert! is not helped by a duff DVD release. Picture and sound quality is okay, but the deleted scenes add nothing to the viewing, the bloopers are painfully unfunny and the making of, Beyond the Chasm of the Hypervixens, has little other than posturing to promote it. The photo gallery is as redundant as the luridly splashed 'extended' lesbian scenes.

If this film is ever to find the cult status it so blatantly aspires to, it's going to need a DVD that significantly ups its ante. At the moment it's more suited to a double feature disc, sharing fortunes with a similarly outrageous bedfellow, or piggybacking with a Russ Meyer classic.
