Phantasm III: Lord Of The Dead

Read Gator MacReady's film review of Phantasm III: Lord Of The DeadFilmed in standard widescreen, the 1.85:1 anamorphic image is pretty much as good as Phantasm II in that it is flawless but too often looks pretty flat and uninteresting due to unimaginative cinematography.
The Dolby Stereo tracks have once again been re-mastered in DTS 5.1 and are slightly sharper and better this time round. It's not the most dynamic sound design, but it's about as good as this film is ever likely to sound.
There's no Don. or Reg. To do the talking this time round and the commentary duties are left to A Michael Baldwin and Angus Scrimm, who seem to get on well together, with no desire for bloodshed between them. Angus gets a bigger chance to speak freely and again comes across as a very warm and intelligent man.
Biographies, photo galleries and trailers are also included.
