Read Jennie Kermode's film review of Robinson Crusoe On MarsA neglected film with an interesting place in the history of science fiction cinema, Robinson Crusoe On Mars makes a welcome return in small screen form. It's a great choice for collectors of genre work and Victor Lundin's presence makes it an interesting curiosity for Star Trek fans. There's a commentary track by Robert Skotak which provides a good bit of detail about its origins and development, plus there's the original theatrical trailer, which is so spectacularly over the top that it might be for a different film, but it's guaranteed to entertain. You'll also find an accompanying 28 page booklet including some spectacular images from the archives.
