Eye For Film >> Movies >> Rondo (2018) DVD Review
A film with natural cult appeal, Rondo will find a natural place in many a DVD collection. This beautifully presented DVD is very much in keeping with the style of the film and features a beautiful collections of related artwork (including a portrait of one of the team from Fantasia, where it had its première). It includes an in-depth feature on the film's soundtrack, something one rarely finds on a DVD, presented by one of the composers whose delivery and humour are ideally suited to the film.
Also present is a series of deleted scenes, including a great little insight into Jill's character which, had it been retained, would have given away too much about her too early, but which makes a delightful addition here. Then there's the original trailer, full of bold promises and fun.
