The prospect of short film Vampires appealed greatly - but I was left disappointed. It lasts just a minute and is the movie from the movie - a petrol station attendant is watching it while the kids steal gas and food.

It's horror with a Christmas theme - involving Monica Belluci and a slightly sozzled santa. It's shot in the style of a silent, black and white B-movie and amusing enough, with Bellucci looking as vampishly stunning as she did as Dracula's bride in Ford Coppola's version of Bram Stoker's classic.

The Making Of is pretty interesting and varies from the usual gushing of cast and crew about how much they loved the script and their characters etc. It's Cassel taking about his work with the Kourtrajme team, young film-makers and actors who make shorts. He appeared in a few of their films and agreed to produce Chapiron's first feature, Sheitan.

It follows getting these rookies in shape for the job at workshops and how alien the movie set was for them. Cassel also talks about his trouble trying to portray Joseph - what he should look and move like. His subtitles are very annoying though, appearing at the top and bottom of the screen and you never know which. Another annoying factor is that some scenes of cast and crew joking around aren't subbed, so unless you speak fluent French you won't understand a word.

The original trailer is included, and there are three sound options plus subtitles in English and Spanish. Overall, the Extras are decent enough, just thin on the ground compared to what many movies offer. Then again, it is pretty standard for European discs.
