Filmed in standard widescreen, the 1.85:1 anamorphic picture is pretty damn good with perfect, solid blacks and excellent contrast. Paramount may have skipped on the extras but they did do a fine job with the transfer. There are hardly any faults to speak of.

The remastered Dolby 5.1 soundtrack is loud and lively with Danny Elfman's score seamlessly blended into the action. It may not be the dynamic mix of a newer production but stills sounds brilliant with some good .1 LFE use.

The only extra is a trailer. Which is shocking because a film like this deserves more. Perhaps in the future eh. I don't know what Paramount were thinking just plopping this film out there, completely naked on DVD. What miserable Scrooges. They need a taste of their own medicine.
