Eye For Film >> Movies >> Soldier Blue (1970) DVD Review
You can't go wrong with the American West. Certainly the picture quality does credit to the magnificent landscapes. The sound dips around a bit and tends to be a little unreliable, not that it matters, because what is being said could easily be forgotten. Or, to put it another way, should be forgotten.
There are no extras. It would have been interesting to discover from the director, or Candice Bergen, the importance of the Vietnam allegory. Perhaps "interesting" is too strong a word.
