Eye For Film >> Movies >> Startup.com (2001) DVD Review
This is an entertaining and informative documentary, but having it on DVD adds little to the experience. Because the filming is of the shaky, handheld sort, there is no benefit from seeing it polished up here.
The production notes and filmmaker biographies are just that, in irritatingly small print that means you have to get up close and personal with your TV to read them. The trailer is fun, but not enough reason to splash the cash. The sound and print colours are fine.
This DVD is one to be bought on the merits of its documentary content alone.
