The Blue Angel

Read Angus Wolfe Murray's film review of The Blue AngelThe quality of the print is remarkably well preserved, considering its age. The sound is less good, although the German version is better. Comparing the two is interesting.
There are no extras, as such. For a film of this importance, you might have expected something, but in many ways it's better without pages of written script, giving cast biogs and ancient reviews and a puff on the director.
That said, this is the first time that the two versions, English and German, have been available together in the UK.
