The version of the film presented on this disc is the wonderful 1997 restoration, running at 175 minutes, and not to be confused with the inferior 124-minute cut that has previously been in circulation.

Mr Bongo Films provide no extras, but the scene selection option comes with headings for each scene – very helpful for anyone trying to navigate their way through this most turbulent of narratives.
