This DVD is part of a relatively recent Network re-release, moving lost 'classics' onto DVD. The DVD features a photo gallery which contains images that might spoil elements of the denoument, but they are an interesting colour contrast to the film's crisp monochrome. There are a handful of filmic flickers, but nothing distracting.

There might be a couple of moments where sound doesn't quite synchronise, but given how untrustworthy your reviewer's DVD player is I can't in good conscience blame the disc. The film is one of the few relics of Francis Durbridge's television serials. Like much early television they are lost, but the film remains, and it has been well looked after here. The posters refer to "Tingling Thrills in A Swiftly Moving Mystery Drama", and though contemporaneous publicity would appear to give some bits of the game away they don't make (or market) them like they used to.
