Read Angus Wolfe Murray's film review of The X Files DeadaliveMuch of the action appears to take place at night. If you added it up, it probably doesn't, although that's the way it feels, which restricts colour variation.
The quality of the print is excellent, the clarity so pristine that when you anticipate tears in Anderson's eyes, there they are, like dew drops on a gull's egg.
Behind The Scenes is a bit of a mess, but maybe that's the way movies are made. The occasional comments from supporting actors, and/or one of the directors, wash over you without leaving a message, although the guy who plays Skinner - or is Doggett? - says, "You can never get bored with it and you can never figure it out." That's true.
Two Character Profiles are about the same person, boring old Robert Patrick.
Agent Doggett - part 1 is like a trailer, with the promise of "an in-depth interview after the feature." This doesn't happen.
Agent Doggett - part 2 is less frenetic. Patrick talks about joining the X Files fold and what he feels about that (you can guess) and working with the established actors (ditto). There are also scenes from other episodes to whet the appetite, or trigger the memory.
And that's it.
I can't wait for Scully's baby. It might be an alien.
