Like the film itself, this disc is a lean, no-frills affair. Those expecting director commentaries or featurettes expatiating upon the paradoxes of time travel will be in for a disappointment.

Instead, all you get here is a reel of trailers for other Optimum releases, a trailer for Timecrimes (which, criminally, contains major spoilers), and the film itself.

The film, however, is all you need – and Timecrimes is the sort of film that is perfectly suited to the DVD format, in the sense that its complexities are best appreciated with multiple viewings.
