Travis At The Palace

Read Steve Slater's film review of Travis At The PalaceThis is a standard documentary of pre and post gig footage of the band. They are always conscious of the camera, so there is plenty of male bonding, larking about, conversations for effect and very little footage of genuine emotion and reaction, except for an unexpected revelation of pre-concert nerves. This is a filler of little value.
Basically, Travis is a decent bunch of guys who have not been adversely affected by stardom. This compliment is also, in rock-and-roll terms, an indictment.
Bring back Oasis and The Stone Roses, go trash something. I half expected to see a Feng Shui expert in charge of the back stage area.
