The look of the film is exquisite and the choice of sound an added bonus.
The Extras are hardly worthy of the name. Hannah McGill's film notes are the views of a different critic and the World Cinema trailer reel is an excuse for Tartan Video to show off its wares.
The DVD goody bag doesn't tell you anything about the French view of sex in the city, or even a glimpse of the fascinating Claire Denis.
