It will come as little surprise to learn that, as with most additional material on comedy DVDs, the extras here are a mixed bunch. There are all too obvious reasons - mainly to do with jokes becoming laboured - that many of the 12 deleted scenes didn't make the final cut. The interviews section - featuring contributions from the Police, the zombie and wervolves among others - is also hit and miss. Still, even if less is, ultimately, more, there are moments to enjoy.

The original short on which the feature is based is also included here. It's a bargain basement affair but the scenes where the lads hit the streets of Wellington and mix with the unsuspecting populace have a sharp humour.

Best of all is Behind The Shadows, a look at some of the special effects used in the film, including the actors being set alight and wire work. These are all interesting and benefit from being shown without commentary, so we are able to see the busy work on set without interruption.

The package iscompleted by a series of short promo videos for the film.
