Where The Truth Lies

Read Angus Wolfe Murray's film review of Where The Truth LiesA meagre selection of extras, which are essentially the same thing - backstage material spliced with clips from the film.
The Making Of is a disappointing five-minute feature that seems to have been made by someone mucking around with a camcorder, though of some interest is the secret of how they filmed the sequences featuring the dead girl in the bathtub.
The Featurette is actually more of a Making Of, with talking heads from director and stars, bumped up with film clips, even if it is only Atom Egoyan who has anything of interest to say.
The unedited B roll is more of a Making Of, too, and sadly cuts at the points where Egoyan cuts - his directions might have been a lot more interesting than watching the film from a different angle.
The 10 minutes of deleted scenes meanwhile are largely filler that reveal nothing in terms of character and plot not made clear in the film itself (and wisely excised), while the mandatory trailer should be avoided if you intend to actually watch the movie.
