William And Mary: Season 1

Read Stephanie Wolfe Murray's film review of William And Mary: Season 1Extras are usually an "extra" treat and this case is no exception.
Martin Clunes and Julie Graham sit closely on a sofa, purring, he with an arm protectively around her. They are discussing Mick Ford's script and how it enabled them to act with complete naturalness. Sometimes, they say, you have to work hard to realise a sense of true emotion on screen. This time, it was a piece of cake, so much so that the director had to cool them down and say, "Hold it! We're not there yet. They've only just met."
Interspersed with this interview, which is hard to differentiate from a William & Mary episode, we are shown clips, illustrating their points. Once again, I was swept up in the story and groping for the tissues.
Roll on Part II.
