Without A Clue

Without A Clue has made the transfer to DVD fairly painlessly - it looks just as garish and improbable as it did at the cinema.

The stereo sound has been reproduced acceptably and the picture quality, although encoding leaves it blocky at times, is generally good, with a reasonable contrast level. The print itself has occasional scratches and marks, but overall is of ample quality.

The complete lack of extras is disappointing, but not surprising, and, quite frankly, I don't think anyone would be thrilled by a Making Of documentary.

I can't understand the point of putting films like this out on DVD, in particular when they are left in TV aspect with stereo sound.

However, if you have a burning passion to own this slice of cinema cheese, it does suffice.
