This year's edition of the Belfast Film Festival opens on Halloween night with the Irish première of Aislinn Clarke’s Irish language horror movie Fréwaka, and closes on 9 November with the UK première of The Wise Guy, directed by Sam O’Mahony. It includes three world premières and a total of 25 films screening in Northern Ireland for the first time., as well as a William Friedkin tribute and a selection of old favourites.
