This touring festival of rare Chinese film gets underway in Edinburgh on March 9, before touring around the UK. Featuring films dating back to the 1930s, many of these films are not available on DVD, so the festival represents a rare opportunity to see them. Highlights include an ultra-rare print of Yellow Earth and a special screening of Goddess with a newly commissioned live score.
