The Montreal festival is back with an in-person edition celebrating the latest, greatest fantasy, horror, science fiction, animé and unclassifiable yet fascinating films. It opens with Polaris and closes with Next Sohee. Alongside the screenings are a series of talks with filmmakers including John Woo and Kier-La Janisse, and a special award will be presented to producer Pierre David.
The festival runs from 14 July to 3 August.
