The Marrakech International Film Festival's 17th edition will run from November 30 to December 8. The festival will feature an official competition section of 14 films, with director James Gray announced as jury president.

It will open with At Eternity's Gate and feature tributes to Robin Wright, Agnès Varda and Moroccan director Jillali Ferhati. Oscar winners Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro will also attend.
