ITV and Cobra launch short film competition

New competition will showcase winners on television - first prize a £5000 trip to India

by Amber Wilkinson

Budding film-makers have the chance to showcase their work as part of Cobra beer's sponsorship of ITV2 an ITV3 movies.

Films will be shown before and after advert breaks and must be five seconds long - with each director submitting 10 films based on the same theme.

Twice a month a panel of judges will pick which ones to show on television, with every film shown automatically entered into next year's Cobravision awards to win holidays and cash.

Even if you don't want to make a short film yourself, you can vote on a selection of the film's posted on the associated internet website, with those voted best winning beer for a year.
