by Amber Wilkinson

The National Theatre is presenting a free outdoor summer festival of cinema, music and arts in Theatre Square.

With performances six days a week from Monday to Saturday, at lunchtimes, early evenings and late night Saturdays, Watch This Space offers over 150 world-class shows across its ten weeks.

As part of the festival, every Friday from July 29 to September 2 from either 10pm or 10.30pm late night iconic films will be projected onto the 23m Lyttleton flytower.

Films include Blood Wedding, Twentieth Century, The Threepenny Opera and a selection of Silent Shakespeare collected from the turn of the 19th-20th century.
