Birds Eye View partners with Action Aid

Women's film festival to showcase developing world films.

by Amber Wilkinson

Birds Eye View has announced it has gone into partnership with Action Aid for its festival, which runs from March 8 to 14.

It is to host a special strand of documentaries and features from women filmmakers in developing world companies.

The programme, which will run at The Barbican, ICA and National Film Theatre, will also feature specially composed music to be performed live over a selection of short silent movies made by female film pioneers and Film Council seminars.

The full line-up will be announced later this month. Read our previous coverage of BEV here or visit the official site.
