Sundays with 007

Four great Bond movies return to the big screen on Sundays this summer.

by Jennie Kermode

He produced some of the great classics of the spy genre, and this year it's one hundred years sine Albert 'Cubby' Broccoli was born. To celebrate, Park Circus Films are re-releasing four digitally restored James Bond films which you will be able to see in cinemas all around the country.

Screening on consecutive Sundays in June, Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger and On Her Majesty's Secret Service have something to offer for every kind of audience. They consistently top fan polls, with great stunts, gadgets, cars, villains and, of course, Bond girls. Ursula Andress, Honor Blackman and Diana Rigg all make a big impression on our hero, whilst Joseph Wiseman and Lotte Lenya are unforgettable adversaries.

The UK Film Council's Digital Screen Network will be presenting the film, ensuring the best available quality in both sound and vision, so the experience should be even better than when the films were new. The UKFC has helped to fund the distribution of the films so that they can be enjoyed by as wide an audience as possible.
