Film director Clive Donner has died at the age of 84.

Donner - who was suffering from Alzheimer's - passed away in London. He was best known for his work in the Sixties, including The Caretaker, What's New Pussycat and Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush.

After a move to LA, he went on to produce a number of television dramas, including The Scarlet Pimpernel.
