The Last Airbender takes top prize at Razzies

M Night Shyamalan fantasy movie they love to hate.

The Last Airbender was crowned worst film at this year's Razzie Awards.

The action fantasy scooped five awards in all, including worst director and worst screenplay for M Night Shyamalan. Actor Jackson Rathbone was named worst supporting actor for his role in the film and it also received a special award for worst eye-gouging misuse of 3-D.

Speaking about The Last Airbender, Razzies founder John Wilson said: "When this film opened, for once critics and fans were in agreement: This movie sucks."

Sex And The City also came in for a drubbing, taking home three Golden Raspberries, co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon shared the worst actress prize and it also picked up the awards for worst ensemble and worst prequel or sequel.

Ashton Kutcher was named worst actor for his role in Killers and Valentine’s Day, while Jessica Alba took the Razzie as worst supporting actress for four 2010 releases, The Killer Inside Me, Little Fockers, Machete and Valentine’s Day.
