The Golden Globe nominations were announced today, with British films The Imitation Game and The Theory Of Everything getting an impressive amount of attention, while Birdman, Gone Girl and The Grand Budapest Hotel have also made a strong showing. The Golden Globes are widely regarded as the most important US awards event in the run-up to the Oscars, and the winners will receive their awards at a ceremony in Los Angeles on January 11.
